Charco & Dique
Charco & Dique is a compliance consultancy operating in the financial sector – helping banks, insurers and pension funds deal with all kinds of legislation and regulations. In 2010 they started with three people, and have grown into a team of 40.
Ronald van Dijk is one of Charco & Dique’s founders and has been working with Universal IT for the past 10 years.
“Charco & Dique started small, but we grew quickly in 10 years. As our company grew, so did our needs for good ICT facilities. That’s why Universal takes care of all our ICT needs. Their services have grown with us.
When we wanted to automate our services, create a Modern Workplace, and needed an environment where we could store our documents and work together; Universal helped us implement a Microsoft Office 365 Enterprise environment.
Security is an important issue for us. We have a lot of customer data. Universal ensures that if someone loses a device, the device is immediately blocked remotely. We are also looking at how we can raise our IT security to an even higher level. Together with Universal we have devised an internal adoption program – which helps our users get acquainted to the new security measures step by step.
Our philosophy is: we outsource everything we are not good at. Universal does not make ICT bigger than it is. They look very carefully at what’s needed and don’t overwhelm our users with more services than necessary.”
