Announcement: uCallManager is now uWebChat Voice
At Universal.cloud, we are always looking for ways to improve our products and provide the best experience for our customers. Therefore, we are excited to announce that uCallManager is now being integrated into the uWebChat family and will be renamed uWebChat Voice. Both uCallManager and uWebChat are based on Microsoft Teams and focus on integrated business communication, making this merger a logical and natural step.
What is uWebChat?
uWebChat is an omnichannel chat bot that enables your organization to communicate with visitors via your website, company portal, web shop or whatsapp, offering visitors options to call, use live web chat, use video calls or use chat bot features for automated responses. uWebChat and uWebChat Voice (previously uCallManager) use Microsoft Teams as the client that agents use to receive calls, chats and automated messages.
What does this rebranding mean for uCallManager customers?
uWebChat Voice is the new brand name. uCallManager features are not effected, services continue as usual. However; customers now have the option to expand business communication features with live chat, AI chat, WhatsApp integration and more…

Next steps for uCallManager organizations: enhance business communications with live chat and AI
uCallManager organizations can now easily integrate uWebChat live chat into their communication platform. The uWebChat free version is available in the Teams App Store and is the base license that is required to . After installing the app, customers can send us their uWebChat ID to receive the license key for the extended uWebChat version with enhanced live chat features. Adding the license will unlock these advanced features for our valued telephony customers!
1) Get uWebChat Free
Navigate to Teams app store and search for uWebChat, or go our website and click on “try for free”
2) Add uWebChat to Teams
Once installed find uWebChat in Teams chat and start a conversation with the uWebChat chat bot to activate.
3) Free upgrade of your license
Type help in uWebChat – in the menu options choose “show my debug info” this will display your uWebChat ID. Send it to the Universal supportdesk to receive your free license key. When you receive your key you simply type “upgrade” in uWebChat to enter your key. Now you can start adding agents and configuring your live chat bot!
