Microsoft 365 Copilot availability

Microsoft announced the general availability of Microsoft 365 Copilot, a new artificial intelligence (AI) assistant that can help customers with various tasks and problems across different domains and applications. Microsoft 365 Copilot is the latest addition to the Microsoft Copilot family, which also includes Bing Chat and Microsoft Copilot in Windows.

Microsoft 365 Copilot available for Enterprise Customers only starting November 1; SMB customers still have to wait

Starting November 1, Microsoft 365 Copilot will be available for purchase worldwide via the Enterprise Agreement Channels, with a minimum purchase of 300 seats and only for customers supported by a Microsoft Commercial Executive. 

More details for SMB customers, purchasing directly or via CSP partners, will be shared in the coming months. SMB customers still have to wait, unfortunately. The reason:

 “This will allow us to provide additional support as they begin to utilize and incorporate it into their business operations. As we gain more insights and experience, we plan to gradually extend access to businesses of varying sizes”.

Microsoft 365 Copilot details

Microsoft 365 Copilot will be supported in the following languages (except Copilot for Excel that is currently only supported in English):
  • English
  • Spanish
  • Japanese
  • French
  •  German
  • Portuguese
  • Italian 
  • Chinese Simplified
The next set of languages – in alphabetical order – are: Arabic, Chinese Traditional, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Hebrew, Hungarian, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Portugal), Russian, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, and Ukrainian.

Microsoft 365 Copilot will include Copilot in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Loop, as well as access to Microsoft 365 Chat. 

Microsoft 365 Copilot license pricing

Currently the minimum number of seats for Microsoft 365 Copilot is 300 seats.
Pricing is USD 30 per seat per month.
Microsoft Copilot is an add-on to Microsoft 365 E3/E5 licenses.

AI tools available now for SMB customers: Bing Chat Enterprise and Windows Copilot

Bing Chat Enterprise is already available for customers with Business and Enterprise licenses. Windows Copilot is currently available in the Windows Insider Program and will be available in the the new Windows 11 update.
You can chat with Windows Copilot in natural language and ask it to do things like change settings, get help, create content, generate insights, and more. Windows Copilot can also access the web and other apps to provide you with relevant information and services.
