Microsoft 365 Copilot Business: new licenses, bundles, and promotions launching December 1, 2025

Microsoft is launching Microsoft 365 Copilot Business on December 1, 2025, bringing enterprise-grade AI productivity to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) at a more accessible price point.

What’s New?

  • Microsoft 365 Copilot Business delivers the same AI-powered features as the current Copilot SKU, but at a lower price:
    • $21.00 per user/month (final Euro pricing to be announced December 1)
    • Up to 300 users
    • Requires Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Standard, or Premium
  • Convenient Bundles:
    • Business Basic + Copilot Business: $27 per user/month
    • Business Standard + Copilot Business: $33.50 per user/month
    • Business Premium + Copilot Business: $43 per user/month
    • All bundles are available with or without Teams.

Promotional pricing (Dec 1, 2025 – Mar 31, 2026)

  • Standalone Copilot Business: 15% off (1–300 licenses)
  • Business Standard + Copilot Business: 35% off (10–300 licenses)
  • Business Premium + Copilot Business: 25% off (10–300 licenses)
  • Microsoft Purview Suite add-on for Business Premium: 50% off

Note: Official Euro pricing will be published on December 1, 2025. Pricing may vary by region and subscription term.

Advice for existing Copilot customers

  • No automatic migration: Existing Copilot add-ons will not be automatically converted to Copilot Business. Your current licenses remain valid under existing terms.
  • Consider switching: For organizations with fewer than 300 users, Copilot Business is more cost-effective ($21 vs. $30 per user/month) and includes the same features.
  • Leverage bundle discounts: The new bundles with Business Standard or Premium offer significant savings—up to 35% off during the promotional period.
  • Check your base license: Copilot Business requires a Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Standard, or Premium license. Enterprise E3/E5 is still required for the Enterprise Copilot variant.
  • Strategic migration: Don’t migrate all users blindly. Start with a pilot group of active Copilot users, measure adoption and value, and then scale up.
  • Mid-term upgrades: You can upgrade all or part of your seats mid-term to Copilot Business and benefit from promotional pricing. Full upgrades are recommended for easier management and maximum flexibility.
