Activate Teams users for Direct Routing

This manual provides instructions for activating user accounts to make calls through Microsoft Teams using the Direct Routing option.

License Requirements

Users need one of the following to use Direct Routing:

• Microsoft 365 Business plan: with Teams Phone license
• Enterprise plan (E1, E3, E5): with Teams Phone license

What is Direct Routing?

Direct Routing allows you to connect your own telephony infrastructure to Microsoft Teams, enabling users to make and receive PSTN calls directly from Teams.
