DNS MX records – Spam filtering Universal Hosted Exchange

Summary

If your domain is not hosted by Universal IT the following DNS-zoe records are required.

Note: only change the records of the type “MX” and that make sure any old MX records are deleted.

New records:

Type: MX  Data: smtpgate01.enterexchange.com Priority: 10
Type: MX  Data: smtpgate02.enterexchange.com Priority: 50

Additional Comments

If a SPF record is used for your domain the follow component needs to be added to the current record:

include:spfprotection.enterexchange.com

An example of a SPF record:
